This 200-year-old farmhouse is in in the middle of a country village, close to The Long Trail and Sugarbush and Mad River ski areas. You will wake up to the sound of birds and the brook that runs next to the house. We are midway between Burlington and Middlebury, which offer many attractions of their own such as music and cultural events, shopping, and great restaurants. All stays include yummy, homemade breakfasts, using organic/ local ingredients. XC skiing and snow shoeing can be accessed in our adjoining field with your own equipment. Sugarbush and Mad River Glen are a 1/2 hour drive via the Roxbury Gap (snow tires and winter driving skills a must) or a 55 min drive via I-89, exit 9.

Middlebury Private Suite, walk to campus.

A pleasant walk to Middlebury town and college from this handsome 1827 Federal home which is licensed with the state. The suite has two bedrooms with one private bathroom and it’s own entrance. Each room has a queen bed with a comfortable mattress fitted with sun dried cotton sheets. The suite has a small refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle and French press. If the reservation is for 2 persons but both bedrooms are required, there is an additional $80 per night charge.

Shelley Room - The Featherbed Inn & Nordic Spa

A sunny room in our 1806 farmhouse B&B, Shelley is the largest room in the Jenny cottage, a few steps from the main building. The room has its own 2nd floor private entrance and a shared kitchen. This lovely room sleeps three comfortably, with a queen-sized cannonball bed as well as a twin bed in a private alcove. The Shelley room has a spacious sitting area with wing back chairs. Guests are treated to a gourmet three-course breakfasts.

A 30 min. ferry ride takes you across our stunning lake to quaint villages on the shore of New York with the Adirondack mountains just a few miles further west.
