Enjoy nature in a beautiful peaceful setting with 100 acres of privately owned property. Breathtaking panoramic views spanning 45 miles in a tranquil natural spot with hiking trails throughout. The property includes an outside firepit that is a favorite place for guests to relax and enjoy the breathtaking views of the mountains.

Only a short drive from Ohiopyle State Park, Laurel Hill State Park, Seven Springs Resort, Hidden Valley Resort, Laurel Ridge State Park, Fallingwater, and the Allegheny Passage bike trail. We are an “unplugged facility” with no WiFi or TV to ensure our guests can escape the chaos of reality and relax. Our space provides you with the basic necessities for your stay. Nestle into this cozy, one bedroom condo in The Villages at Seven Springs Mountain Resort. This retreat boasts easy ski-in/ski-out access to the slopes via the Villages Trail behind the condo building (weather permitting). What makes this condo special is the private entrance, large living space, a bedroom with king bed, a full kitchen, and a balcony. As a guest, you have access to the free shuttle service or visit the clubhouse with pool, hot-tub, basketball and tennis in the summer months.

Yoder School Guest House with wifi and hot tub

Built originally in the late 1800's and renovated by us in 1991, Yoder School became our home. In later years we converted part of the building into this peaceful getaway. Opportunities for outdoor activities abound. Fantastic road cycling with Strava routes start right here! Just a short drive away great mountain biking, hiking, cross country and downhill skiing, and white water rafting are yours to enjoy. Several unique and popular restaurants, and tennis and basketball courts are nearby.

Country Home

Relax with family, friends, or enjoy a solo retreat at this peaceful place to stay in the country. Chestnut House was built in the early 1940s, with Wormy Chestnut wood everywhere! It is a unique home, with an apartment built over a garage / wood working shop.. then connected to the main house later. This space available to rent is separate and fully functional from the main house where we live. Enjoy 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, full kitchen and living area.. along with the large outdoors!

Yough Nest Bungalow: Half Home with View of River

Yough Nest Bungalow is in Confluence Pennsylvania and is located directly across from the Youghiogheny River; it is located one block away from The Great Allegheny Passage Bicycle and Hiking Trail. This half of a home rental offers a front deck, a queen bed, a large living area with tv, and bar area with a small kitchenette area. PLEASE BE AWARE if you have allergies or phobias of cats; there are two cats (Rocket and Slash) on the premises that like to visit with and love on guests.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Brand new, beautiful one bedroom apartment above a detached garage just 5 miles from Deep Creek Lake. Beautifully designed space with craftsman quality large kitchen, king size neo-industrial walnut bed, live-edge vanity and wall cap, articulating lamp, all made by local craftsman. Leather pull out couch with queen bed sleeps two extra guests. Relax by the fire pit and listen to the birds in the woods.

Flanigan Farmhouse - Cozy, modern 3 bdr on 4 acres

Listen to the frogs sing in the springtime, pick raspberries and blackberries in July, peaches in August, and pears in September, watch birds from the porch swing, relax in the hammock, swap stories around the fire, and gaze up at a starry sky. Our farmhouse is on a quiet, beautiful corner of the Earth and we love being able to share it. It is private and bucolic, but a very short drive to amenities, adventure, and lots of gorgeous outdoor enjoyment.

The Crick House

Our Cabin has become know as "The Crick House". The Crick House is situated about 100 yards from the historic Mill Run Creek. Many people in this area use the slang word "Crick" in place of Creek. This explains why the name Crick House has come to be. The cabin sits at the end of a private driveway surrounded by woods. There is a short path allowing access to the creek or you can sit on the porch and listen to its tranquil sounds.

Tucked conveniently between Swallow Falls State Park and Deep Creek Lake, this recently renovated 2 bd cottage has everything you need for a weekend getaway or a much needed week(s) long vacation!  Inside you will find a completely stocked kitchen, open living/dining area,  full size bathroom, 2 bedrooms and a cozy nook with sleeper sofa and desk.  Relax and unwind in the spacious backyard or charming balcony. *pets stay free

Pap's Place

Pap’s Place is a single-wide mobile home that has been recently renovated. This property is named after the former owner, Warren Sterner, affectionately called “Pap” by his grandchildren. Warren was a railroad enthusiast. He could never work on the railroad due to the loss of an eye at a young age. This home has been decorated with prints of railroad and local scenes that Warren painted during his life.
