Cathedral Creeks B&B - Private Cabin

This is an absolutely idyllic spot in the foothills of the Alaska Range. Quiet and scenic, between creeks and the Tanana River, yet right on the Alaska Highway, 24 miles west of Tok. The rooms are small, but comfortable. There is also a fireplace and free wood for you to use. The shower building is right across and there is also a small guest fridge to keep any food or drinks cold. There also is a private cabin with a queen bed, and kitchenette. Grab and go breakfast items available in the am.

Klutina Family House @ Nicolai's Mine Camp

Cabin with 4 private bedrooms: Includes: 2 king-sized; 2 full-sized; 4 twins, plus two couches, kitchen, bathroom with WIFI. NOTE: This is a CABIN. NOT a luxury suite. It is BASIC, but clean and roomy. You will be half-way time-wise between Anchorage and McCarthy--the heart of Wrangell St. Elias National Park. The name "Nicolai's Mine Camp" derives from history. The property resembles a mine camp. Nicolai's Mine is located within that park. Visit the nearby bar for more history of the area.

Great spot for bird watching, glassing the mountains looking at Dall Sheep and mountain goats. Get away from the busy life and take a break down here by the river.

White Moose Lodge 3 of 10

My place is 11 miles north of Denali National Park. We have affordable motel-style rooms. All our rooms have two full-size double beds, private bathroom, coffee maker, microwave, frig, free WiFi and Satellite TV. All rooms are non-smoking and have a great wilderness view. We also have a BBQ grill and picnic tables on our deck. There are restaurants, a laundry-mat, and two 24 hr quick-marts close by. Our rooms are clean, quite and comfortable. Rated best value-in-area for many years.
