It is located across from Rushford Lake 1/2 mile from Balcom Beach Rd boat launch and is less than a mile from The Country Store & Dollar General. This charming & inviting 4 bedroom home can accommodate sleeping arrangements for up to 14 guests.A spacious entranceway that's furnished as a family/game room. A fully stocked kitchen, large spacious living room with tv/wifi internet. One full bathroom with tub/shower.

(IMPORTANT INFO: THE HOUSE LOWER LEVEL IS ENTIRELY YOURS: however, we are upstairs; no shared spaces; NO KITCHEN. PET POLICY: see details under “The space”) Nestled on 3 acres of woods, our house is quiet, spacious, cozy, private. Convenience is an understatement. "Downtown" Alfred, Alfred State & Alfred University are within easy walking distance. Finger Lakes wine region is 40 minutes away, Letchworth State Park (the “Grand Canyon of the East”) is about an hour, Watkins Glen is 2 hours.

Quiet cabin in the woods with pond view/firepit

This is a very quiet property set back in the woods. This log cabin has a wood burning fireplace indoors making it nice and cozy. Large firepit outside for bonfires. This cabin is in the woods so you will see insects and wildlife, we do spray for insects and mice but there is only so much we can do. We have 17 acres for you to walk around and explore! Enjoy time at our pond, feel free to fish but ask you to release them because we love our wildlife. Close to Letchworth State park!
