View freighters, sailboats and the vast beautiful lake. We have Kayaks available for your use. The Ausable river is about 10 miles away. It offers excellent opportunities for canoeing and tubing

Lake George -a 90-acre all sports lake - amazing fishing, boating, and swimming at our mini sandy beach (or ice fishing in the winter). Public boat launch is on the other side of the lake. Cabin 5 is in the center of it all. This waterfront cabin has its own deck overlooking Lake Huron. There is also a futon which can sleep 2 extra people. Shady Shores is conveniently located along Michigan's gorgeous east shoreline along US-23, locally known as the sunrise side. The resort features stunning, unimpeded views of Lake Huron and the eastern horizon. We are located 2 miles south of downtown Oscoda and 12 miles north of downtown Tawas. We have direct access to Lake Huron as well

The home is walking distance from a public access beach on Lake Huron. We have a large lot that is wooded in the back, allowing for a quiet, private space to play yard games, grill out, and enjoy a fire. The house has an open concept and is equipped with a full kitchen and washer+dryer. We provide games and Smart TV if you choose to relax inside.
