Welcome to Puerto Benoir, a water front cottage on Benoir Lake. This cottage has been renovated from top to bottom and is right on the edge of Algonquin Provincial Park. Satellite TV with premium programming and WIFI high speed internet with unlimited data is included. Gradual entry into the sand bottom lake is what you will find. The cottage has a dock which can hold boat, and there is a swim raft out in the bay. The cottage has 2 paddle boats, 2 kids kayaks and 2 adult kayaks.

A private lakeside retreat with all-day sun and sunsets, featuring the main cabin, wood sauna, kayaks and rowboat, private shoreline and docks. Unlimited WIFI, a fully equipped kitchen, two fire pits, docks, excellent swimming (clean and weed free) on a private forested property. It is 15 minutes to Haliburton with many stores. Come visit our A-frame cabin in the woods on Eels Creek! I built this place myself over 18 months with some generous help from my friends and supervision from wife (in the form of naps). The area is known for its snowshoe and cross-country ski trails. At night we welcome you to cozy up by the outdoor firepit and enjoy the stars. Lots of firewood is provided with your rental. In the warmer months there is lots of hiking and paddling to do.

The Guest House

Our guest house is a cozy log cabin with three floors. It is the original homesteader cabin to our property, revived and restored with care. Nestled in the Bonnechere region of Renfrew County, this magical place of solitude offers nature right outside your door. Local paintings by Ottawa Valley landscape artist Angela St. Jean displayed throughout the cabin feature lakes, rivers, and natural places and spaces that surround us.
