Take it easy at this unique, tranquil off-grid getaway. The secluded and private Stone Cottage is nestled among lush indigenous trees and next to an irrigation canal. Thatched and built from stone, the cottage offers stunning views into a verdant garden and over a farm dam. Everything on the property, from the food we grow to how we live, and generate electricity, is based on being environmentally sustainable. South Africa's leading lithography studio, The Artists' Press, is also located here.

Nestled amongst the pristine granite outcrops of the Lowveld, almost invisible to the eye, it is a true architectural gem. It has a lounge area, indoor fireplace, patio gas grill, well-equipped kitchen and decks with breathtaking views. The bedroom and en-suite bathroom, as well as a secluded jetted bath, are situated on lower decks.

This is a very comfortable, centrally-located family home with an open-plan living space leading out to a large deck, which overlooks a sparkling pool and treetops of the adjacent green belt. The house is best suited for up to 4 adults and their children (maximum 6 guests in total). Because the unit only has 2 ground floor bathrooms, we will not be able to accept booking requests for 6 adults. Strictly no noise and no parties allowed.
