In Alentejo´s golden fields we find Lobeira, a century-old cottage surrounded by trees, patio, swimming pool and next to a lovely river beach. The original features of the construction in mud, stone and wood were kept, favoring the use of natural materials and local handmade techniques while adding all the necessary amenities to provide a perfect stay. 3 houses, totally independent of each other. Master bedroom, open space living room/kitchen, fireplace, double sofa-bed, in/outdoor dining area.

If you need to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of city life this is the ideal house, here you'll have the opportunity to completely get away. It is a house, a special place mainly for its architectural forms. Here you can walk and breathe the fresh air, you can see the skies and the moon gaining relevance. Casas do Poente is a property consisting of 3 houses, ours and 2 other independent houses. Casinha do Burro & Casinha da Cabra, each with its own private patio and terrace. Casinha do Burro (40m2) has 1 bedroom with double bed, the living/dining room with a kitchenette and a wood burning stove, 1 WC and a beautiful patio. The terrace overlooks the countryside, the sea and the sky! We are quiet and value both our privacy and the privacy of our guests. We are a family of 4, 2 humans and 2 dogs.

Its been used as a barn ans was newly renovated in 2017, we kept part of its origianally rustic charme. It's 15km to the coast line with its beautiful beaches. A spacious living room with a wood burner and an extra loft space with a single bed and meditation mat and pillow. Fully equipped kitchen and 2 bedrooms with a double bed each.

Beautiful self-built ecological house by the river

This amazing home-made house is newly renovated and located on our small farm where we grow vegetables and fruit trees. The house is made out of rammed earth and stones, placed just a few meters from the gorgeous river of Seixe, surrounded by green hills and fields. The valley is very calm and full of animals such as cows, horses, goats, donkeys, pigs & sheep. In the hot days you can take a cooling dip in the river or visit the amazing beach only 6 km away!

Organic Farm Stay in the Mountains

You can come and enjoy nature at ours. We have set up an cozy holiday house for you where you can spend a relaxing holiday. The cottage is located in the middle of the wooded mountains of Monchique. An ideal starting point for hiking. From the town of Monchique, a tarmac road leads into the mountains to the top of our valley. From there it goes on a dirt road further down into a peaceful valley to our organic farm with fruit trees, chickens and goats.
