Somerset Stables is set on a small rural holding with access to the Mogo state forest, close proximity to the beach and Mogo village and is within walking distance to Mogo Zoo. It has modern decor, rich timber floors, vaulted ceilings and is self contained to be comfortable. The Apartment is a loft conversion of our Stable Barn with stair only access, it has a tree top view of the paddocks below with accompanying bird and zoo noises. We look forward to hosting our guests and sharing our space.

Moruya has plenty of cafes & you can enjoy the popular Riverside Markets every Sat morning or the SAGE growers markets every Tues afternoon. OR simply relax with a wine & BBQ; a cuppa on the front verandah, or snuggle inside with the woodstove on & watch a DVD or stream shows.

Our comfortable, well-equipped self-contained unit is situated underneath our family home. It is 1 km from the beach and the river, and 6 km from the country town of Moruya on the NSW South Coast. Swimming, fishing, kayaking, markets, bush walking, bike trails, or relaxing - it's all here for you and your family. Your pet is welcome too. We have a large grass area fenced with l.6 m high wire where your dog can run, and our local beach is a 24 hour off-leash doggy playground!

Many of the original features have been preserved such as the exposed wood rafters, weatherboards, iron roof and facade. Even the original saddle racks remain in the bathroom and old framing timber has been repurposed into a beautiful kitchen island. Perfect for couples or families looking for a relaxing country getaway.
