Our cozy, rustic off grid yurt is located 20 min west of Golden in the Bleaberry Valley. It is nestled on the side of Willow Bank mountain. The views and nearby activities here are world class. The yurt has all the necessities you need to have a comfortable stay anytime of year. It is a very basic and rustic place, best suited to adventure seekers. Cliffside cabin is your ideal Canadian Rockies retreat with thoughtful amenities inside and out to complete your stay. Enjoy a beautiful mountain backdrop from the bedroom, patio, BBQ & fire pit. Private walking trails lead down to the Blaeberry River and a small homemade disc golf course is just out the front door. Access is quick & easy from Highway 1 while still providing forested privacy inside and out; perfect for a few nights stay or as a base camp for your extended mountain getaway.

Wild Wood Cabins: Deer Crossing (private Hot Tub)

This bright one bedroom cabin holds a rustic charm set in a forested area, located just out of the town of Golden, BC. As the smallest of all the Wild Wood Cabins, the layout of Deer Crossing is cozy and compact, perfect for two guests. There is an open concept bedroom upstairs with a queen sized bed and washroom. Downstairs has the kitchen and living area sharing one open space. A pull-out-couch is included for an extra guest. Two covered decks also allow for more enjoyable times outdoors.

We welcome you to a fully equipped, non pet-friendly 400 square foot 2 bedroom cabin 15 minutes north from Golden in the Blaeberry Valley. After a day of activities such as mountain biking, hiking, fishing, skiing, snowboarding, sledding, or just passing through looking for a getaway from it all, this is the place to unwind. Our house is 100 feet from the cabin but we will value your privacy.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Listen to the wolves howling right outside your window at the neighboring Wolf Center. Stay warm on those cold nights with the infloor heating and wood stove. This cozy little cabin is nestled in the beautiful Blaeberry valley, with great trails along the river's edge only a few minutes walk away.There is a full size shower and comfortable outhouse that has ample lighting that comes on automatically when it gets dark.
