Sæból is a historic farm in one of the most remote parts of Iceland. Visitors will find a truly authentic experience of life in the Westfjords, past and present. It provides amazing access to the mountains and the sea, and the opportunity to enjoy the remoteness and quiet that make the Westfjords so special. In Sæból lives a friendly sheep farmer known as Bettý (my mother) and she is the last remaining resident of Ingjaldssandur. She also makes beautiful handcrafts that she sells at her house.

Only a 10 min drive from Ísafjordur, our 126 m2 house in Súðavík has 4 bedrooms and provides accommodation for up to 10 people. Kitchen, bathroom, patio and great ocean and mountain views. The house has a living room, flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, kitchen with a fridge and oven and a bathroom with a shower. Bed linen, quilts, pillows and towels are provided for up to 10 people. Washing machine and dryer in a separate room behind the kitchen.

It nests in a spacious garden near the sea and the harbor of the small fishing village of Bolungarvík witch is surrounded by mountains on three sides. The house is on 2 floors, on the ground floor there is a open kitchen, living room with a sofa and a bathroom with a shower. The second floor is a sleeping loft with 1 double bed, a travel crib is available op on request.
