Our home is located on the Olympic Peninsula, just steps from where the Duckabush River meets the Hood Canal. We have tried to create a cozy and rustic space for guests to relax in! The cabin is conveniently located near lots of hiking trails, and several public beaches. Prepare to be completely engulfed in nature, as the property is home to many interesting and rare plants and trees. Come sit in the hot tub, while bald eagles fly overhead, or head to a public beach and find a bounty of oysters!

McDonald Cove Cabin

Rustic cozy cabin. Open concept for easy entertaining with glorious views of the water. Main floor bedroom with Queen bed plus open loft with Queen bed. The cabin has one bathroom opposite the downstairs bedroom. Great outdoor living with two decks; front deck facing the waterfront. Use stairs to access the beach and boat house which houses two single kayaks, one double kayak, life jackets, and beach chairs for guest use. One exterior security camera, which monitors the driveway is present.

Owl's Nest Guest House

Adorable, and neat as a pin, this "Greenpod" guest house is tucked away on 64 acres of mixed forest and meadows in the foothills of the Olympic Mountains. Once tucked back into the woods, this newly improved 1920s cabin now enjoys a front-row seat to the grandeur of the Hood Canal thanks to a tidal creek that has washed away the sandy soil that once supported the departed trees. The space is a standalone unit detached from our main house tucked off the main street, nestled amongst the cedars and firs along Mud Bay connecting to Puget Sound. The room has a full 270 degree view on the gardens and trees, queen size murphy bed, fridge, sink, microwave, wood stove and bathroom, complete with 16" outdoor rain shower.

This one room dry cabin (no running water) is a rustic retreat in a beautiful setting on our property. Lots of light. It has electricity, WiFi, table & chairs, double bed, heat, ceiling fan, AC, picnic table, and a fantastic view. No running water, no kitchen, no bathroom. There is a clean portapotty near parking. Quiet hrs 9p-7a. A small porch is the perfect place to enjoy the beautiful river valley and some peace and quiet! One leashed dog allowed, no cats.
