"Anglesey House" Iconic Forbes CBD Heritage Home

"Anglesey House" a two storey, Late Victorian home built in 1884 in the CBD. A wealthy merchant from Anglesey in Wales, loaded two ships with finery that could not be obtained in Australia at the time. William Thomas built Anglesey House with it's seven marble fireplaces, cedar staircase, high and ornate ceilings and sandstone stables in the back garden. Known as Pitt and George we are situated in Millthorpe where you get an entire wing of our duplex to yourself. Also enjoy a loaf of our popular home made bread on the first morning of your stay.
