A beautiful 550 square foot self built house in the woods. Many of the materials used in this house were either reused from old local houses or milled on the property itself, giving it a lot of character, while remaining modern. Quiet, private and surrounded by trees. 5 minutes from downtown Nevada City. Near a variety of outdoor activities. Down a private driveway with lots of outdoor space to enjoy. Equipped with a full kitchen, BBQ, big bathtub, art, extra bedding, TV, library and washer.

This compact, self-contained apartment (with private entrance) is attached to an architecturally designed home nestled in a wooded hillside overlooking a large meadow. Its remote location, 6 minutes drive above the town of Oregon House, is an ideal spot for a getaway. With the entire apartment to yourself it can be a perfect retreat, a romantic weekend, or a quiet work/study space. A place to relax, meditate, read and feel a world away from everyday concerns. Cafe Collage, operates Thursday-Sunday from 5-8 PM, on property for take-out and private events, in a separate building. Monday-Wednesday you have the property to yourself.
