Welcome to Forest Retreat! We are nestled in the hills of Western New York, 23 miles to Chautauqua Lake and 14 miles to Lily Dale. This unique home is near several wedding venues and the Earl Cardot Overland Trail, which is surrounded by 2,300 acres of state forest. We are located between 2 local ski resorts, and only 87 miles south of Niagara Falls State park. Relax by the fire, kayak, or fish in the 2 acre pond and just enjoy the scenery. We do require a signed waiver to utilize the pond.

Kingfisher Point: Beautiful New Lakeside Home

This stylish new lake house was completed in September of 2022, and we are excited to open it to visitors to the Cassadaga Lake. Our home on Cassadaga Lake rests among the trees of an old growth forest adjacent to protected wetlands. Guests can enjoy the sun setting over the lake each evening from one of two porches facing the lake, or from the kayaks that are available to guests. And yes, Kingfishers are frequent visitors to the lakes as well! (No smoking and no pets allowed).

Private dock, your own boat slip and trailer parking. Free canoes, bikes, gas grill and fire pit with wood - right on Chautauqua Lake! Private laundry. Walk, or ride our included well-tuned classic bikes, 1/4 mile to the Bemus village sign. Take a quiet paddle in the canoe. Read, sunbathe, fish, or cocktail on our private dock, with a slip provided for your boat up to 25 ft. Grill on a gas grill or lakeside Fire pit. Private parking for 2 cars and 2 trailers.

Welcome to our Creekside Cottage! I have called this place home for most of my life, playing in the back yard, waving at the steady stream of kayakers or going creeking and exploring the islands. Nowadays, I still adventure out with my kids but you'll also find me kicking back and enjoying the sights from the big picture window or out on the back deck watching the sunset. Our home is located in historic North East Pa. The house sits on a bluff overlooking beautiful Lake Erie with steps to access the beach. We have 2 bikes, a fire pit and plenty of seating on the oversized deck to enjoy your view of bald eagles flying along the shore. A split air system gives Air conditioning in the entire home makes your stay very comfortable. We are certain you will love your escape to the lake.
