Lalla Ghayta

We are happy to share the silence, our rich history and mindfulness. Welcome to Lalla Ghayta, a place with an intriguing rich history. The house’s construction in Chefchaouen’s well renowned historic district of Bāb S-sūq. Built in the original Moroccan style by the grandsons of the city founder, Ben Rāšid, it was inherited by generations of family members known for their intellectual lives and political engagement. The house is under the propriety of one of ʔāl al-ʕAlami’s granddaughters.
