Five Acre Farm - The Cabin

'The Cabin' is a new (completed 2020) architectural boutique accomodation located at Five Acre Farm in Heathcote Valley. It is a unique design of two “pods” - living/kitchen space and the second pod consisting of the bathroom & bedrooms, linked via a covered outdoor deck area. The cabin is the perfect setting for a quiet weekend away for couples or families, clad in natural cedar timber with high vaulted ceiling lined with locally milled beech timber, you will instantly feel relaxed.

Relax & unwind at this unique and rustic getaway. This stand alone cottage which is centrally located in Rolleston, is an ideal place to stopover between the bottom and top of the South Island or a couple wanting to see the sights of Selwyn. The cottage has a self contained kitchenette, separate bathroom, shower, toilet, wood burner, heater, heated towel rail. Private courtyard with laziboy chairs, breakfast area in/outside, Bbq and French doors opening up to a lovely pond with trout

Surrounded by large trees, beautiful woodland gardens, across the road from the Ōpāwaho River and the sound of birdsong at your doorstep, you are bound to feel relaxed and at home in our bespoke cottage. Staying in a tiny home is an unforgettable experience — and we hope you’ll fall in love with this space just as we have. Please note: The spa is closed for the season from December 1 to February 28.

You have access to a shared garden, bush, flowers, ferns and SPA POOL nestled in the fernery. You're welcome to do a BAG/Bike drop off and these can be LOCKED away.
