Welcome to Drift Away! We invite you to our home in the woods, just 10 minutes outside of Golden, BC where you can surround yourself with mountains, wildlife, and serenity. Enjoy the fully stocked suite with all the amenities to live in the woods in comfort, including a full kitchen, board games, comfy couches and quality bed mattresses with fluffy down duvets. With such close proximity to the backcountry, multiple national parks, and ski resorts, your adventure begins the moment you arrive!

Rustic Deck Tub with Historic Cabin and views.

This unique cabin is situated on a private ridge line of our farm. We have built a complete wrap around deck to enjoy beautiful mountain views from many positions including from the rustic tub and the wonderful sound of our year round creek with its cascading waterfalls sits just below. Our cabin started its life about 70 km from here as a sauna, then moved to the back of the popular ski lodge to become a place for pilots, engineers and staff to service helicopters and enjoy after hour parties.

This suite is BEST for a couple or small family due to lack of privacy. NOT for LIGHT sleepers, as you can hear us walking above you. This little Nordic inspired cabin is close to everything but in a peaceful spot just outside of town, walking distance from the Golden Sky Bridge, 5 min ride into the centre of town, and 15 min to Kickinghorse Ski Resort. This beautiful cabin has a two-burner cooktop stowed away to cook your own meals and a mini wood-burning stove to keep you cozy. The Nordic Cabin has everything you need in a small cozy footprint. On a 10 acre property with a view of the Shuswap lake that is quite breathtaking. The suite is separate from the main part of the house where the owners reside. Enjoy this cozy suite on the ground floor of our family log home. We are located in the middle of 40 acres of woodlands so it's remote and quiet (aside from our rambunctious children) . The Granny Suite has its own private entrance, in floor heating, a walk in closet, a private bathroom with heated towel rack, and a kitchenette. There is a king size bed, two stools at the breakfast bar and two sitting chairs in the living space. We are happy to provide a playpen for infants/toddlers.
