There are two walking paths in our community that will take you to the lakeshore. Both are approximately a half mile walk.

Sweet Solitude

Visit this tiny rural cabin. Now is prime birdwatching season! Bring binoculars. Excellent neighbors, but none in sight. 🙂 Sometimes we just want to be alone. Sweet Solitude is a private place to focus on what's really most important, especially for couples. Our cabin locally sourced. The timbers were sawed at a local hemlock mill. The exterior is made of boards we had milled from old pines along US Hwy 322. Even the stones we laid for the fireplace once splashed in a local creek.

Kitchen and formal dining room fully equipped with appliances, coffee maker, dinner and cookware. Linens and towels also provided. Close to Allegheny College, MMC, Crawford County Fair...walk to food and coffee, stroll the quiet streets of town, or light the fire pit and gather 'round!

Nearby hunting, walking, UTV riding, snowmobile, biking, and many other outdoor activities. Entire house with outdoor fire pit available. We are located out in the country and it is very quiet and safe area. We offer self check-in with a pin pad lock on the door. We are close by but leave you to enjoy country living.

It can sleep up to 11 guests in beds plus one on the pullout, and more if using the couch and/or an air mattress. Fully equipped kitchen (all new appliances) as well as washer/dryer.
