Spend a day in the sun on one of many beaches nearby or visit the stunning Burren and its fabulous attractions, such as Aillwee Cave and Birds of Prey Centre, Doolin Cave, Caherconnell Fort and the majestic Cliffs of Moher. Nestled alongside one of Ireland’s most iconic landmarks, Doonagore Castle Cottage has been painstakingly renovated by the castle’s owners, merging authentic 300-year-old features with modern amenities, to offer guests a unique vacation experience. Doolin village, famous for its music and culinary delights, is a ten-minute walk away, the dramatic not-to-be-missed cliffs of Moher a short drive, and a spectacular 14th century castle right next door.

Ideal for walkers, Glennagalliagh (Valley of the Hags) is situated on the East Clare Way. The sheltered valley is nestled in the foothills of the Slieve Bernagh Mountains with Clare's highest peak; Moylussa (532m) standing behind. The apartment is a converted brewery with views towards the Ardclooney River and the hills above. 4 miles from the picturesque riverside town of Killaloe/Ballina and pubs, cafes, restaurants, boutiques, markets, fishing and watersports/beaches of Lough Derg.

You can enjoy a delicious meal and a pint in one of the many great pubs or restaurants in the area, or you can shop in one of the local farmer's markets and cook up a storm in the chalet.
