This unique cottage sleeps six people & is ideally placed in South-West Donegal along the Wild Atlantic Way. It offers complete tranquillity & lies within easy reach of the main attractions of the area (beaches, hiking, surfing, kayaking, horse riding, chasing waterfalls & sunsets). The cosy cottage is perfect for peaceful strolls across Donegal’s breathtaking beach’s& it’s the ultimate backdrop for a low-key romantic break, however, you’ll have to make friends with the cows while you’re there!

Our cosy hut consists of a comfortable bedroom with an enchanted view of Assaroe Lake: enjoy it on our 3 deckings! The cabin is very close to our house but secluded from it, buried in the woods. The room provides a tranquill escape from frantic life:- there’s Wi-Fi but no television , just a radio. Kitchen facilities are basic but functional. We provide the basis for a continent breakfast. Beaches and hiking trails are very close by. WE ACCEPT PETS ONLY AFTER CONSULTATION WITH THEIR OWNER

Cosy, rural Thatched cottage

The Rockhouse - a refurbished, traditional cottage set in generous landscaped grounds, including a small wood and stream. A peaceful location to relax and unwind in, with no TV but good WIFI. An ideal base from which to explore the Wild Atlantic Way, the new Blueway to Arranmore and the scenery of The Rosses and Donegal. Several beaches are a few minutes drive away and numerous walks around the surrounding area. Dungloe (An Clochan Liath) is only a 6km drive with bars, restaurants and shops.

Harben Cottage in the green hills of Ardara

Harben Cottage is a 150 year old traditional stone cottage - 5mins drive from the Heritage Town of Ardara (20mins walk). Set amongst lush green hills & sitting next to a bubbling mountain stream. A mixture of new and old; low doorways, a turf fireplace, water supplied from a mountain spring, but also a gas cook top, oven, microwave, WIFI, & central heating. NB: that the toilet & shower are housed in outside annex - this may not suit everyone but adds a touch of authenticity for the brave!

Donegal Thatch Cottage

Paddys thatched cottage is a recently renovated property built circa 1880 set on 7 acres of farmland & still retains the original features/character including the internal exposed stone wall & large fireplace making it very cosy. This area is very popular for trail walking in the hills or the purpose built walkways. Outdoor activities are plentiful such as kayaking, sea swimming, guided rock climbing & golfing. If the weather doesn't permit you can always light the stove & put the feet up.

Hannah's Thatched Cottage

Hannahs thatched cottage (pet friendly!) is one of the last remaining original thatched cottages in Inishowen. The cottage has recently and lovingly been restored to the highest standards. Hannahs is a perfect base for those who are looking for an adventure, surrounded by some of Irelands best hill walking trails, cleanest beaches and most breath-taking scenery. A 5-minute drive to numerous award-winning restaurants and cosy pubs and just a 10-minute walk to the village of Clonmany.

Dooey Hill Cottage - Beach Front

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Dooey Hill Cottage is nestled on the hillside by Dooey beach with Atlantic views, overlooking beautiful Traigheana bay (Bay of the Birds) and the mountains of Donegal. It is on 6 acres including shoreline, secluded yet only 5 minutes drive to local shops and pubs with traditional music and food, and a further 10 minutes to the town of Dungloe with several supermarkets, a bank and numerous traditional pubs and restaurants.

Teach Johnny Shéain

A traditional cottage with living area and hearth at its centre and a double room and shower room flank either side. It rests in the heart of the Gaeltacht on a laneway 1km from the village of Gortahork. It is shaded by majestic trees, a vegetable garden and views of Magheraroarty beach. The Poison Glen and Errigal mountain are within 10 minutes drive. The cottage is at the heart of a variety of outdoor pursuits, cultural experiences and nature itself.

Dungloe Retreat- Sea View and 5mins to Main Street

Number 9 Ard Croine is smart, clean end of terrace cottage on the beautiful Wild Atlantic Way. Situated within walking distance to Main Street, Dungloe, Co. Donegal, the property enjoy sea views over Dungloe Bay. The house sleeps up to 6 people by one large double room, one twin and one small double. It is the perfect base for touring the area or just relaxing by the log burning stove. There is a 3 night minimum stay. Cuddly pets welcome!
