Quiet Ocean Front Beach House

Welcome to Our Friends Beach House on beautiful Lang Bay looking out to the Malaspina Strait on the beautiful Sunshine Coast of British Columbia. We are 12 km south of Powell River and 15 km north of the Saltery Bay ferry terminal. You can also fly into Powell River on Coastal Air and rent a car at the airport. This comfortable quiet A-frame cabin sleeps 4, one bedroom with a queen bed and a spiral staircase leading to a queen bed in the loft. There is a full size kitchen with pots, pans, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and some spices supplied. There is a full size washer and dryer and BBQ as well. There is a TV, movies, books, games and puzzles. Wifi internet is also available. Watch the salmon swim up the creek to the spawning channel and observe the blue herons, ducks, geese and many other birds as they float over and swim in the bay. Relax on the deck as you listen to the song birds and watch the eagles soar. Snuggle by the wood stove as you watch a movie and relax in your own private cabin. You need only bring your clothes and food. Everything else is supplied. There is a golf course 10 minutes away and the town of Powell River is 20 minutes away. There are 3 major grocery stores as well as a major department store and many specialty shops and local businesses. There are many fresh water lakes as well as hiking and biking trails, scuba diving and chartered fishing trips in the area. There are many local artists in the area too.

The peace of the forest is rejuvenating and the outdoor bath tub for two a great joy. This is an attached cottage with a private entrance and off-street parking. It is on a ten acre lot, not seen from the road nor overlooked by any building. The bedroom has a double bed, and the sofa can convert into a second comfortable double bed. There is a fully furnished kitchen, a bathroom with shower, a 4 place dining table, a big desk, WIFI, and HDTV. There are lots of windows, two big cedar decks, and a bbq grill. It’s light, airy and peaceful, set in a lovely garden with mountain views.
