Our 1914 cottage has weathered many storms and stands tall with charm. She is well loved and lived in. We have chickens pecking, ducks waddling through the gardens, sun shining through our stained glass, spiders spinning webs, paint drips, palmetto bugs, an old swing in the front yard, cats napping, Spanish moss in the trees, and a screened-in porch to take in the beauty of a long day's sunset. Our island homestead is for those looking for a down-to-earth stay with nature & art close at hand. ♥

Enjoy a breath of fresh air in this chic 2 bed, 2 bath third floor condo overlooking Taylor Creek, Carrot Island, the occasional dolphin pod or wild horse sighting, and all that Beaufort has to offer! You will be welcomed with freshly-made beds, towels and a full kitchen with Keurig and Rachel Ray cookware.

The 'Outhouse' is attached to the deck and is a separate space to hangout, watch movies & use the PS4. There is everything you need at the Mermaid Cottage!
