Perfect for a romantic getaway or a convenient place to stay if you are in the area for business. A large fenced yard abuts a public park complete with tennis courts, track and walking trail. Explore our small town with a big history, visit its historic buildings, great restaurants and unique shops. The location is convenient to all of the South Coast.

This lovely home is peaceful & conveniently located next to I-195 and a short drive away from Boston, Providence, Newport, Cape Cod, many beaches, a winery and a 5 minute drive to UMass Dartmouth. Simple but cozy cottage on an acre property next to the main house. Moderate sized bedroom and living room. Small kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. Air conditioning is a portable unit and only in the bedroom. Games, books, and puzzles provided. There is no cable but a smart TV is included with access to Netflix etc. if you have an account. Outdoor area includes charcoal grill and seating . Large back yard with yard games, basketball hoop and fire pit.

Land + Sea - a country coastal retreat

Land + Sea is an 1890s farmhouse in the Head of Westport neighborhood, just a few minutes walk to the East Branch of the Westport River. Spend the days kayaking nearby or at nearby beaches, then come back to rinse off in the outdoor shower. Close to Buzzard Bay Brewing, Westport Rivers Winery, farmstands, dairies, cycling loops, galleries/studios and conservation areas. Prepare local foods in the chef's kitchen or on the grill. A comfy pull-out sofa is an option for overnight guests.

Historic Cobblestone Carriage House near Downtown

Enjoy a piece of history at this carriage house! Jonathan Bourne owned a mansion along with this home, and his son purchased a whaler, Lagoda, in 1841. The ship is currently displayed at the New Bedford Whaling Museum, which is walking distance; just four/five blocks of downtown New Bedford, where you can also enjoy shopping, great food, entertainment, and the ferry to either Martha’s Vineyard or Nantucket.
