Welcome to the Quack + Cluck Lakeside Haven. Situated 900ft off of a quiet street, with 12 private acres, this home sits on a 14 acre inland lake. The lake is not for swimming but it has beautiful sunsets and wildlife. This is one of 3 apartments, in this private home. All have private entrances, and living spaces. Also included is a covered patio, fire pit, outdoor table + a floating dock perfect for afternoon picnics. This apartment sleeps 4. It has one extra large bedroom with a room divider.

This property boasts 1000 square-feet of living space and a private, 300-foot span of unobstructed lake views and access. Located walking distance to the Grindstone Marina (with public boat launch), convenience store, restaurants and the famous Grindstone General Store, serving the largest ice cream scoops in the Thumb! Enjoy the gorgeous morning sunrises or the fire pit right on the water, under the stars.

The Beach House

Private deck with grill, fire pit, parking space, washer/dryer, pack n play, waterfront gazebo (shared), picnic tables, swimming, kayaks, paddle boards, row boat, pedal boat, fishing, ice fishing, ( bring your fishing gear, all water boating / kayaks /paddle boards, are ONLY available to use for staying / paying guests. Lake is electric motors only. (2 pet max)Dogs allowed (aggressive breed dogs not allowed, all dogs must be leashed, no cats allowed). Short drive to Frankenmuth approx 40 mins.

Try tiny living! Wi-Fi: 80 yards from the THOW is a Wi-Fi router and extender -sometimes it works well, other times-NOT!!! You can’t depend on it…Challenging to be in the Woods AND have good Wi-Fi! If you have a hotspot, and your signal is good that may be your best option. Compost toilet challenge: experience our compost toilet with no smell!… Or you get a free night! HOT TUB (shared with host house). There is rarely a schedule conflict for the hot tub.
