The Cabins at Currier Landing, featured in Dwell as “Three Magical Tiny Cabins Take Root in a Maine Forest,” are located on the Thos. Currier Saltwater Farm. Glimpses of water & access to 300’ of the Benjamin River Harbor shore. 2 seasonal cabins; 1 studio cabin. Centrally located on the Blue Hill Peninsula near Deer Isle, the cabins offer access to outdoor activities, cultural events, restaurants & shops.

My Blue Heaven

The cabin is totally renovated with new appliances. Very cute and cozy, perfect for couples looking for a romantic get away. Jenkins Beach is closed for renovations this summer but you can still rent/launch boats there for a small fee. The cabin has WiFi and two TV’s, one has Apple TV, the other has streaming services as well and both have DVD players. Our cabin is not childproof, so not suitable for children under 5. Please look closely at the pictures if you’re bringing a small child.

It is furnished with the amenities listed as well as a dock, swimming float, fire pit with firewood, gas grill, and table and chairs. Enjoy the peacefulness from the screened in porch which overlooks the lake after a day of hiking in Acadia National Park. You will hear the call of the loons while relaxing.

Less than 5 minutes from local Ellsworth restaurants, shops, gas stations and supermarkets. Want to be surrounded by nature? Listen to animal sounds? Eat quality food? You're in the right place! The yurt has a full bed. It has electricity for lights and a hot plate. Pots, pans and utensils are available. The compost toilets are in the back. There is no running water inside but we provide a drinking fountain and foot pump sink. An outdoor shower is available near our house. The distance between parking and the yurt is about 150 yards. Petting goats or sheep available. .

Snow Sweet at The Appleton Retreat is very private, check out the Trail Map. This contemporary yurt faces the Field of Dreams and has a nice view of Appleton Ridge. It features a private therapeutic hot tub on the deck, a fire pit, and fast wifi. The Appleton Retreat encompasses 120 acres hosting six unique retreats. To the south is the Pettengill Stream, a resource protected area. To the north is the Nature Conservancy's 1300 acre reserve.
