Awaroa - Abel Tasman National Park

The Abel Tasman is one of "NZ's 8 Great Walks". The beautiful golden sands and pristine waters of Awaroa Inlet, and the Abel Tasman track are on our doorstep. Our Awaroa beachfront property is located on the edge of the Abel Tasman National Park and the Cottage is nestled in our back garden. The cottage is not seaward-facing, only a few steps to the beach. We have a Necky Looksha 19ft Ocean double kayak, life jackets, dry bags, free to use to explore the estuary, the river or Awaroa Bay.

Unplug and unwind, chilling between our two 1960's caravans nestled in bush in the heart of the Marlborough Sounds. Wake up to spectacular water views & enjoy the tranquility of the native bush & birdsong. This unique setup offers one caravan as a bedroom and a separate kitchen/living room caravan. A diesel central heating system has been installed to heat both. Enjoy the rustic charm & views from the hot water bush shower & the novelty of the separate 'loo with a view' in the hut above.

Warm and sunny, this clean and easy care space is the perfect place to come to unwind, relax and allow nature to wrap its blanket around you. We have kept the space simple and uncluttered and love the simplicity of the cottage. With some recycled building products, no fussy modern ornaments, no chairs and tables this is a small and uncomplicated place to relax.
