The Harbinson Homestead

This cozy log-cabin was built by hand in 1929 and remains a living work of art. Located in the rolling hills of Homer, just 20 min. from Downtown, this stunning old homestead offers an authentic Alaskan experience with mountain views! Accommodations: 3 beds (1 Queen, 2 Twins), a full kitchen w/running water, modern Toyo heater and wood stove, a tidy outhouse, and a genuine Nordic Spa (sauna/coldplunge). Our cabin is the perfect place to get-away to beautiful Homer, AK. Located centrally between town and Homer’s XC ski trail network at Ohlson Mtn. It is an authentic heavy timber hunting cabin that has been modernized to be warm & comfortable with a full kitchen and bath as well as a loft bedroom with a view of Kachemak Bay. It is private but located on a shared property with our home which is ideal for providing assistance with anything you may need.

Whether you’re a solo traveler, a couple, or a small family, you can find everything you need in this private little space. This home has one lofted bedroom, a full kitchen, and a sunroom with blackout shades and a full size futon, and is only 10 minutes from town! Please note: the staircase to get to the loft bedroom is a bit steeper and more narrow than a typical staircase, and there are a few steps to get into the house from the deck outside.

High Bluff Guest Cottage

Small, sunny cottage is comfortable and self contained. It consists of a spacious entry way, a living room with kitchen corner, and a bed/bath room that features a built-in double bed and large shower. Open interior layout (no doors). Sleeps 2.
