Our studio apartment with sleeping loft is great for two adults or a couple with children. Located on a quiet country road great for taking long walks. There is a queen bed in the loft and a pull out queen sofa in the living area. Bright with high ceilings and all new furnishings. We are less than three miles from town, 20 minutes to Bromley and 25 minutes to Stratton. Close to hiking, biking, fishing, great restaurants and shopping. Unique Vermont Barn Experience! 1880s restored barn on 2 acres in Manchester Village across from Southern Vermont Arts Center. Converted to a photo studio in 2004 when we moved from NY; spacious, comfortable, solar-powered, approx. 1 mile to Main St. (town roads, no sidewalk), close to shopping, restaurants, golf, hiking, skiing, etc. Beautiful views, Mount Equinox front, the Green Mountains back. The access is flat and off a paved road. 3 min to Dorset. 5 min to Manchester. 10 min to VT Horse Show. 15 min to Bromley. 25 min to Stratton.

The Barn, situated behind our house, is located just a few minutes walk to the center of Manchester. It is a studio setting with general living area on the main floor and a bedroom above in a loft. There is hot tub available to barn guest and a shared (with house) outdoor space. Very clean, very fun space with ample room, comfortable bedding. Perfect for two. (Note: Bedroom Loft is only accessible via a spiral staircase).

You'll have the whole 3rd floor to yourself with a new private bath, large bedroom with a/c, and a separate sitting room/library. Stay in an historic gem, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Historically sensitive restoration has been done. You'll have a continental breakfast in the house's original dining room. We're a four a minute drive from the center of historic Dorset village.
