Spend some time in our new croft apartment on the shore of beautiful Loch Migdale. Go touring, walking, bird-watching, mountain-biking, cycling, kayaking, paddle boarding or fishing in the day then relax on the decking in the evening. With plenty of attractions nearby you can enjoy the best of Sutherland and the North Coast 500 from this quiet, but well connected, location. A variety of dining options are available locally or simply provide for yourselves in the well equipped kitchen area.

The Hide - off-grid-ish woodland cabin near NC500

The Hide is a super get-away for anyone travelling around Scotland on the NC500 or on your own adventure looking for a unique stay. Almost off-grid, it has a comfy bed, central woodburner and spectacular view. It's the perfect stepping stone towards the full off-grid experience, intended for people who are curious about living the off-grid lifestyle but also like to be able to charge their phone, boil a kettle and have a hot shower! Mid Nov - Mar we have a winter mode as the water can freeze.

Rustic charm, cosy & nostalgic Bedstee for 2

Bedstee is a remote, sheltered haven on our croft in a beautiful setting overlooking Little Loch Broom. Situated at the end of an 8 mile single track road off the NC500, it's perfect to explore the Highlands. Adventure, stunning views, silence and the elements, our cosy, romantic Bedstee has an intimate and nostalgic rustic feel. Created with love and attention to detail, we wish that you will experience a unique stay in a wonderful little crofting township. Dogs on leads are very welcome.

The View@Redcastle

Nestling on the shores of the Beauly Firth only 10 miles from the city of Inverness, close to the NC500, Killearnan Brae is a luxury self-contained apartment. With boundless bird life including Osprey, the gardens make an ideal spot for birdwatching. Walking from the house you will find Killearnan Church and the Medieval Redcastle both rich in Scottish History. The picturesque village of Beauly is a 5 min drive. Here you will find bespoke shopping, restaurants along with the historic Priory.

Foulis Castle Gate Lodge

Foulis Gate Lodge is a Highland cottage on the Gates of an historic, private, Highland estate with its own drive. The secluded location offers direct access to extensive gardens. The nearest amenities are 2miles in Evanton or 5miles to the ancient Burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm). My place is good for NC500 travellers, couples, and business travellers.

Cairn Pod

Love camping, but looking for something a little more luxurious? Then look no further than Cairn Pod. Situated in a picturesque area of Bonar Bridge Sutherland. Located in the heart of the North Coast 500. (NC500) makes it an ideal accommodation for exploring the Scottish Highlands for a short or long stay. The Armadilla Pod comfortably sleeps two guests which can convert from 2 twin/ 1 double bed. Cairn Pod is equipped to a high standard with private parking and luxury home comforts.

Cabin by the Pier - a unique seaside location

Close to the NC500 route, Inverness, Nigg and the North Highlands, and a stone’s skiff from the shore, Cabin by the Pier is a unique modern building inspired by a traditional salmon fishing bothy, with a panoramic view across the Moray Firth. For writers, casual visitors, beachcombers, birdwatchers, stargazers, shore foragers, ancestry hunters, with the sea for it’s soundtrack, our very popular cabin offers modern comforts for two, in a unique location - where you escape the everyday.

Eddrachillis House

Eddrachillis House is a comfortable, modern home with spectacular views over Badcall Bay and its islands, two miles south of Scourie on the NC500. The house is set in 100 acres of land from shoreline to hill loch. The spacious open-plan living area contains a very well-equipped kitchen and dining area where you can dine under the stars. The cosy lounge has a wood-burning stove and patio doors onto the front terrace with stunning views. Gorgeous bathrooms and very comfortable large beds.

Luxury self-catering log cabin at Assich Zen Lodge

Designed as a playful cross between a Zen tea house and Highland hunting lodge, Assich Zen Lodge is a luxury log cabin with Zen garden, created within the grounds - and using many of the stones - of an ancient ruined byre. Bonar Bridge Old Police Station Flat

Comfortable 2 bedrooms ground floor flat with a spacious living room, fully equipped kitchen (electric hob, compact fridge and microwave) and some lovely views to Carn Bren and Kyle of Sutherland. High speed internet connection. Central electric heating and shower, Wi-Fi, smart tv with options to connect to Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. Main bedroom has a double bed and second bedroom has a single bed that opens into a twin bed, please note these are attached and can’t be separated.

Bucolic charm and ultimate luxury, in a picturesque spur off the NC500 in the heart of Sutherland. Sleeping 2-4 people, (2 Adults & 2 Children under 16) or 3 adults, our spacious bespoke pods have been designed with modern luxury. They are built to a high specification using sustainably sourced timber. The outdoor seating is the perfect place to relax in the tranquil surroundings after a day of exploring the local area. Located nearby are several woodland walks and forest trails.
