JGB’s Farm and Getaway

We are in the country next to a blacktop road.This is a very laidback place , there are farm animals across the road at our farm. This was my moms farm house and I just want people to enjoy it as much as she did. We are close to Kincaid Lake, the local winerie, the World Shooting Complex, and hiking trails (Piney Creek Revenue). Come and enjoy a day fishing or just sitting on the back deck enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Later build a fire and sit back and relax. Come and enjoy the country.

Waltonville House (Jefferson County)near Rend Lake

The area is great for hunting deer, turkeys, and other wildlife. Mt. Vernon & Rend Lake have a golf course. It is about 5 min from a Rend Lake boat ramp(Waltonville, Turnip Patch, Jackie Branch). Rend Lake S Sandusky Beach is about 20 miles. A discount is given for long term stays. It is about 13 miles south of Mt. Vernon, 7 miles from Nason, & 8 miles north of Sesser. It is located near restaurants & gas stations. I have a folder on the table with some local restaurants with menu & location.

With less than 5 miles to the nearest boat ramp, this home is great for those who want to fish on Rend Lake (our area is great for hunting, too). Hardwood floors, porcelain tile (including a heated bathroom floor), leather furniture and a gas fireplace make the inside clean and relaxing.
