Relax with the whole family or a group of like-minded friends at this peaceful and ultra secluded wooden cabin. On the property, you can use fire pit, play ping pong, and enjoy in any way you prefer. The house is adjacent to former cross-county skiing trails that are used as hiking trails. You can easily make a short drive to Lake Placid & Whiteface for skiing. Keene with many hiking trails is 20 minutes away; many hiking trails are within 3-5 minutes drive (Rocky Peak, Hurricane, Baxter).

Only .7 miles to the Jay Covered Bridge, 3 miles to the Jay Mountain summit trail head, 7 miles to Whiteface Mountain, and 16 miles to Lake Placid. Keene and Keene Valley trail heads are only minutes away. The cabin has 3 acres of wooded property with a front driveway as well as a back access drivweway which is nice to walk. Get back to nature! This is a quite riverside primitive campsite. NO BATHROOMS so everything is natural. Come let the tranquil noise of our river lul you to sleep in the fresh Adirondack mountain air. Lots of hiking, boating, rock climbing and mountain biking near by. Only 25 minutes to Lake Placid ( home of two winter Olympics) for some of the Adirondacks best restaurants and tourist destination. There are NO trash facilities on site, so if you pack it in, pack it out!

This cabin is set in a gorgeous, tree-rimmed meadow directly on John's Brook, just 1/2 mile from the village of Keene Valley. Miles of trails are outside your door for your summer or winter enjoyment. Fly fish in the brook just steps from the house or climb Marcy and the range from the front door! The cabin is cozy in the winter with wifi, a fully equipped kitchen and modern amenities. You will enjoy the entire property to yourself in a truly serene setting.

The cutest little cabin in the Adirondacks!

NO ADDITIONAL FEES! Wake up to the sounds and sights of a relaxing Adirondack stream, next to the Barton Brook in charming, little Elizabethtown, NY. The building is in our backyard and the inside is roughly 7x7 with one single twin sized bed, dresser with three drawers, a dorm sized fridge, coffee maker, outlets, a light inside and on the open porch. Enjoy your morning coffee or read a book sitting in the Amish rocker by the outdoor fireplace.

The Trailhead

Our guest suite is located on our small horse farm in the foothills of the Adirondacks. The space has a cozy rustic charm, and has everything you’ll need for a quiet mountain getaway in any season. We are located right at the entrance of the Blueberry Hill Trails, a 1000-acre trail system designed for hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, mountain biking, and horseback riding. Head out the door and you're right on the trails.
