Our cottage is set in a peaceful corner of the village of Minstead, in the heart of the New Forest. It is a Victorian farmhouse overlooking fields with some beautiful original features and has been in our family for over 60 years. It comfortably sleeps up to 6 people with a large mature garden, perfect for families, friends or even couples. It's so tranquil here, hardly a car goes by, but you will see ponies, donkeys and cows roaming up the lane while the wild forest itself is 10 mins walk away.

The Perch is situated in the center of Lyndhurst, considered by many to be ‘the heart of the New Forest’. With floor-to-ceiling windows you will have views across the rooftops to the open forest and up and down the bustling & busy High Street below. Equipped with a kitchenette for small meals with fridge microwave and single induction hob it also has a shower room. Set on our 70 acre farm which you can explore with fresh farm eggs daily.

New Forest Large Shepherd's Hut with Stables

Beautiful, large Shepherd's Hut (20' x 12') in your own peaceful, private space between the garden & the fields - perfect to explore the New Forest. Bring your walking shoes, bikes & horses. Beautiful place for artists, yoga and meditation. There's a stream for you to go and sit by and you can often see deer in the fields next to you. Sit by the firepit and listen to the owls. More ponies, cattle, donkeys wander down the lane past the house than cars. An idyllic escape.
