Four miles beyond us takes you to Eveline State Rec Area. The cabin is cozy- monitor heat or the warmth of late day sun through the southwest facing picture windows. Heated Dry Cabin, with electricity Offering a retreat from the business of town with stunning views of the glaciers and Kachemak Bay. This cabin offers a kitchenette with mini fridge. we supply water on the counter for cooking and washing. NO RUNNING WATER, WINTER stays have use of a old fashioned outhouse. SUMMER guest have access to our washhouse with shower. . We are a small family ranch/peony farm. Located 18 miles out of Homer, on East end rd. about a 30 min drive out of town.

The hand hewn log cabin was built in the late 1800's by Russian settlers and is located in the historic native/Russian settlement of Ninilchik. (An idyllic village that sits on the Cook Inlet, through which the lovely winding Ninilchik River runs.) 180 mile drive from anchorage and only 35 miles from famous Homer, Alaska on the Kachemak bay. You will have total privacy but if you need anything im a 5 minute walk down the road and always reachable by phone.
