Cozy Mountain Cottage on Historic Farm

This Luxury, fully equipped, self catering cottage sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms, each with their own entrance. Close to the village centre but far enough away to experience the tranquility of its mountain hideaway. Luxury percale linen and soft towels are provided. Heating is in each bedroom for winter nights. The open plan living area has everything you need for a home away from home holiday. A little fireplace makes for cozy winter nights and outside areas are ideal for summer evenings.

Tugela River Lodge is a pet friendly, self-catering Eco-Lodge, located on a private cattle and game farm on the banks of the Tugela River, near Winterton, KZN, South Africa. We run off solar and gas and invite guest to come and enjoy the quiet side of nature. Our lodge has access to many miles of trails for hiking, biking and running through our private game farm where one can get up close and personal with our resident giraffe. Beth and I left an international corporate lifestyle in 2016 to farm on our 300 hectare farm in the eastern Freestate.Jacobrust farm is a working farm in the foothills of the Clarens sandstone of the Maluti mountains .We farm with olives and plains game. Traditional farm animals include sheep,chickens,ducks,turkeys and our free roaming pot belly pig Charlotte. We live environmentally friendly early to bed early to rise lives .
