Historic 1880 Settler Cabin, Merryweather Farm

Merryweather Farm is a peaceful place on the open prairie. We raise organic garlic, apples, orchard pork, free-range chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, and charming, lovable dogs and cats. Our goal is to provide a true pioneer experience with just a bit of comfort added. 1880 Norwegian Settlers Cabin is not modernized, attached barn has been rebuilt into uninsulated screen porch. Cabin has great old iron bed, loft has twin bed, screened in porch has day bed. Private modern bath included.

The Parsonage of Marshall is conveniently located half a block off Marshall’s Main Street with numerous restaurants, bars, and shops within walking distance. There are walking trails and an amazing playground to enjoy. The fire pit and fishing dock also add to the experience. Feel free to set up a tent for additional sleeping space if needed. You will be refreshed by the gorgeous views and time spent reflecting in this space.

Travelers Sabbath

Unwind after a long day at the Travelers Sabbath. This newly renovated late-1800s space takes you back in time, with rich wood floors and sturdy architecture. The high ceilings, French doors, and crown molding highlight the home's character. Children will enjoy their own room, complete with bunk beds and a head-to-head retro arcade gaming experience with 12 games.
