Riverwood Hideaway

This OFF-GRID, solar powered hideaway is on the Knife River just a few miles outside of Two Harbors, Minnesota. THERE IS NO RUNNING WATER and LIMITED ELECTRICITY. WE DO HAVE WI-FI. The kitchen has a propane refrigerator and gas oven/stove. Solar power is used for lights and some outlets. Propane fireplace / furnace for heat. The "bathroom" is an outhouse. You bring jugs of drinking water. Hand and dish wash water provided. We supply coffee with pour over utensils, dishes, spices and firewood.

The Cabin @ Ru-Ridge (The perfect place to relax)

This beautiful Amish built cabin sits high above Jay Cooke State Park and surrounding areas. Stunning views of the park and beyond. Enjoy miles of private trails. We are a working farm so don't be surprised to see livestock in your front yard. No on-grid power or water but there is a solar generator and drinking water is supplied. The solar can run a CPAP and charge cell phones easily. There's an outdoor shower and a very clean outhouse to use. Come relax and enjoy yourselves!

Come experience lake life! This newly remodeled lake house is the perfect retreat for you and your group. Featuring 4 bedrooms and 3 baths, this property can easily accommodate 14+ guests. Just a block from the public beach and park, and minutes from the Boulder Lake Cross Country ski trails, you find plenty to do during any season! Want to bring your boat? Snowmobile or ski equipment? We have storage space! You may also launch your boat down the road and park at our dock.

A unique, octagon, cedar log cabin, situated on 40 secluded wooded acres. A short hike over the Sucker River on a storybook foot bridge to a generous deck which surrounds the cabin. You will need to be physically fit to stay here. You must climb a steep ladder to the loft and do a 2ft step to get off the deck to the marshy land below for making a fire. Also bring a sense of adventure! Wildlife is very near. We do not allow animals or smoking of any kind, sorry.
