An easy 10 minutes from the town of Golden, our completely unique, elegant, extremely romantic, custom built, all season yurt and modern shower house Note: There is a new build happening on the rural property beside us for summer 2026. This little Nordic inspired cabin is close to everything but in a peaceful spot just outside of town, walking distance from the Golden Sky Bridge, 5 min ride into the centre of town, and 15 min to Kickinghorse Ski Resort. This beautiful cabin has a two-burner cooktop stowed away to cook your own meals and a mini wood-burning stove to keep you cozy. The Nordic Cabin has everything you need in a small cozy footprint. The perfect place to rest and rejuvenate after your Golden adventure. Enjoy!

Wild Wood Cabins: Deer Crossing (private Hot Tub)

This bright one bedroom cabin holds a rustic charm set in a forested area, located just out of the town of Golden, BC. As the smallest of all the Wild Wood Cabins, the layout of Deer Crossing is cozy and compact, perfect for two guests. There is an open concept bedroom upstairs with a queen sized bed and washroom. Downstairs has the kitchen and living area sharing one open space. A pull-out-couch is included for an extra guest. Two covered decks also allow for more enjoyable times outdoors.

Black Bear Log Cabin is a locally handcrafted Douglas Fir log cabin nestled in the trees on a private lot, located an easy 15 minute drive south of Golden BC. Walk, snowshoe or xc ski right from the door and explore the trails and the Blaeberry River. Warm up beside the wood stove and enjoy the ambiance of the timber framed cabin. Located on a dead end road , you will enjoy the peaceful and quiet location.

Experience the rustic elegance of this handcrafted log home, Grey Owl Lodge. Take in the fantastic mountain views and breathtaking countryside. Soak in the relaxing hot tub after a day of exploring in the mountains. A magical place to spend a weekend or a week of relaxing and adventuring in the surrounding National Parks, 4 of them are less than an hours drive from the lodge. Your only regret will be that you didn't stay longer.

Cornice Suite

Cornice suite is located at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort and adjacent to the Dawn Mt. Nordic Trails. The suite has spectacular mountain views and is located above the garage in our new home. Walk or ski 10 min. to the gondola and community restaurants and shops. My place is good for couples and families. King bed converts to two singles.
