Can walk, run or bike to local trails or stay and walk the trail around the pond, have campfires outside in firepit! Cleaned by me, no crazy rules. Surrounded by nature! Private Great WIFI! Close to ski resorts, dispensaries and amazing Berkshires!

During your escape on the mountain rest assured that you’re only a 30 minute drive to Norths Adams, Greenfield. Highlight your visit with journeys to Berkshire East Ski Resort, Thunder Mountain Biking, Zoar Outdoor River Rafting, MASS MoCA, or the Clark Art Museum.

Just Be Cabin

Small, rustic cabin in the woods behind our home. The cabin has electricity, but no running water. Drinking and cooking water are provided from a hand pumped container. The cabin is a beautiful place to slow down, connect to nature and one's self. If you love to camp, you will love the cabin. It is the perfect locale for a personal retreat. We are happy to arrange a yoga class at our home studio as well. It is like a tree house, where all are welcome to come, simplify life and just be.

One overlooks the large living room with floor to ceiling windows and stone fireplace. The other overlooks the expansive property. It's definitely a tranquil place to rest and relax.

Enjoy hiking the Appalachian Trail in nearby Beartown State Forest or kayaking and swimming in the incomparable Lake Garfield. We are a quick ride to Ski Butternut, Catamount, Tanglewood, Lenox and Great Barrington.

We are located close to a number of excellent ski slopes. Our cottage is the last house on a private road and right next to protected forest. You can't ask for more privacy, peace and quiet than you'll find at our little piece of paradise on the pond!
