"The Shed"

At first glance, yes it's a shed. But explore further and you will find an unique Aussie experience, a fully functional self contained room. Shower, toilet and kitchenette. All private and seperate from our house. It's normally used for overnighters by family and friends. Please be open minded in your expectations, it's not the Ritz, Hilton, Taj Mahal but what it is clean, tidy, private affordable accomadation. Single or couple. Please note that toilet, shower and sink are located in same room.

Our studio apartment is within walking distance to the Black Hill Conservation Park (which has stunning views as in photos), and public transport to the city centre. We live on a quiet no-through street with cafes, restaurants, supermarkets and amenities within a few minutes' drive away. The Studio Apartment is completely detached from our home ensuring your privacy and includes a kitchenette (microwave cooking only) and en-suite. Please note that while we do allow dogs, cats are not welcome.

The spa and sauna are in a separate light filled room, which then leads out to an outdoor courtyard offering BBQ facilities. We have four, spacious and very comfortable self-contained 2 bedroom cottages. Each cottage can sleep up to 5 people. 1 bedroom with a king size bed and the other bedroom with 3 single beds, all bedding and bath towels are provided. A fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove, microwave and fridge. A wood fire located in the open plan lounge room and dining area and a private verandah with an outdoor setting and barbeque overlooking the dam and valley.

Lacabane Retreat (Apartment) is close to the town and beaches. We are on 5 acres and very private. You’ll love Lacabane Retreat because it is very quiet and tranquil. You have access to a tennis court, cricket net or just read a book by the lake. There is also a library, dvd's and a table tennis table for you to use. Lacabane Retreat is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with young kids), and furry friends (pets).
