A tiny house nestled within a quiet, lush Balinese-inspired sub-tropical urban jungle. Conveniently located within Ponsonby and Herne Bay - cafes, restaurants, and bars are just a 5-minute stroll away. Your host live next door in the main house. The Japanese-inspired minimalist interior features bamboo cabinetry and paneling, with some quirky features such as a catamaran net in the loft which is also a comfortable place to chill out.

"Forli" Country Cottage - Whitford, Auckland

Misty Mountain Hut - Piha

A tiny isolated hut amidst Kauri and Rimu trees to escape the world, self check in. Outdoor Fire, long drop, outdoor hot shower/bath. Surrounded by Tuis and Wood pigeons the hut is close to Piha and Karekare…or simply stay and enjoy nature. Beaches are 10 minutes away by car. Grocery shopping and gassing up recommended beforehand. Misty Mountain Hut supports local Piha staff by paying $40/hr.

We are very close to several beautiful beaches which are safe for swimming. We are within an eco village that is run solely on solar power and is a quiet and restful retreat space. Our original Kiwi bach (cabin) overlooks one of the Coromandel Peninsula's most beautiful beaches - Otama. It's like stepping back into another time but with all modern conveniences. Eclectically styled, we're very proud to say we were featured in the December 2016 edition of NZ House & Garden magazine and have been Airbnb Superhosts since the programme began over ten years ago.
