The Stables Cottage - North West Auckland

The Stables is a quaint country rural cottage set amongst rolling green hills, this fully self contained rustic cottage is beautifully appointed and sleeps up to 4 adults or 2 couples in 2 bedrooms. The cottage sits in the gardens of the owners farmhouse yet you are in complete privacy of all, on this working beef farm. Its location is central to many wedding venues & vineyards and only 45 minutes from Auckland's CBD, making this a perfect location for wedding accomodation or a country escape.

The Black Barn

In the heart of wine country, this loft-inspired renovated barn is truly one of a kind. Whether you’re in the area for a wedding or a romantic getaway the Black Barn is the place to stay. With a choice of vineyards, breweries, strawberry picking or walking the trails of the Riverhead Forest there is something for everyone. 15 mins drive to the beautiful black sand beach of Muriwai, famous for its gannet colony, surfing, golf course and stunning sunsets. Stay in this cozy hut, Semi-detached from the main house, self-contained with modest cooking facilities. Queen sized bed upstairs with a spiral staircase taking you downstairs to the living area with fireplace. Listen to native birdsong and the Swanson Stream bubbling along. Stunning scenery, spa/hot tub and sauna available to use along with a pool table in the main house. Nestled amongst native rainforest is this secluded getaway only 10 mins to the motorway and 20 mins to Bethells Beach.

Short drive to Muriwai Beach and South Head walking tracks and lakes. Trolley bed for extra adult available, $20 night.

Laundry amenities at main house and secure on-site car parking. Close to village, semi-rural with sheep on the boundary fence. Must be dog-friendly (2x friendly, pet dogs on-site).

Lovely spaces to take advantage of both morning and afternoon sun, stunning gardens and view , a tennis court and swimming pool . This cabin offers all you need for a retreat, with a modern interior and furnishings, and off grid. Take a walk down through nature, or just sit back and enjoy the view with a barista made coffee delivered to your door, we know you’ll leave feeling rejuvenated and completely relaxed! Only 20 min to Matakana or 15 to Warkworth town!

Misty Mountain Hut - Piha

A tiny isolated hut amidst Kauri and Rimu trees to escape the world, self check in. Outdoor Fire, long drop, outdoor hot shower/bath. Surrounded by Tuis and Wood pigeons the hut is close to Piha and Karekare…or simply stay and enjoy nature. Beaches are 10 minutes away by car. Grocery shopping and gassing up recommended beforehand. Misty Mountain Hut supports local Piha staff by paying $40/hr.
