Private room in a hostel. Kitchen, bathrooms and common areas shared with other guests. Located across from the train station and only a few minutes walk from the distillery. Situated in the former village primary school and school house set in an acre of ground. Surrounded by mountains and Loch Ericht only a few minutes walk away. Hot tub in summer house outside, available to use for a small fee during summer months of June, July and August.

Portree Independent Hostel PR4

Portree Independent Hostel used to be a old post office for the island. We are right in the center of Portree ( the captial of skye). Only 2 mins walking distance from the bus station( the square) and 5 mins from Harbour. Our Hostel has the best wifi service in this island. We have a massive kitchen, unfortunately, due to the covid-19 and goverment guideline, the guests can only use kettles , Microwave and Fridges at this moment.

The Old Bridge Bunkhouse private room no.5

A large, private, ensuite room, suitable for couples, families and small groups. Contains 1 double bed, 2 bunks and a day bed/couch (sleeps 5 max). Also has a fridge, kettle, tea and coffee provisions and a table lareg enough for all, suitable for use as a desk / dining. A nice view of our tree lined, riverside street. Newly decorated with wooden wall panelling, new carpets and new bedside lighting. Excellent wi-fi.

Old school gymnasium building been a hostel since 1961 . Sympathetically renovated in 2006 and again in 2018 providing high quality budget accommodation in the coastal village of Helmsdale. All bedrooms en-suite and spacious and airy. Well equipped kitchen, large dining and lounge areas with log burning stove. Large garden with seats and drying area. Secure shed for bicycles and equipment.

It has been refurbished to provide modern, clean & comfortable accommodation. The hostel is centrally heated with individual thermostats to control the heat in the room.
