Situated on the Inland scenic route [High way 72] and only a short drive to Mount Hutt ski field and the Ashburton Lakes /Lord of the Rings country.For a longer drive Geraldine is only 30 minutes away and the Gateway to the beautiful Southern Lakes . The cottage accomodation is totally private set in a beautiful garden setting in the grounds of the historic school house built in 1876. 20 minutes to Methven and 1 hour to Christchurch international Airport. The warm and cosy cabin is a self contained unit detached from the main house, with BBQ, private deck and restful native garden. You will have your own access/key and off road parking. Our place is great for couples. On navman route, we are 2 hours from Christchurch and 4 hours to Queenstown. Only 1 hour from Mt Hutt ski field and 1 hour from Mt Dobson ski field. Aoraki Mount Cook is 2 hours distance and Tekapo is 1 hour.
