Welcome to Lake Ashmere! Our newly and completely renovated cottage features two bedrooms with comfy queen size beds, a loft with two full size beds, cathedral ceilings, a year-round six person hot tub and a large working kitchen stocked with everything you need. The living space is bright and airy. WiFi in the cottage is over 500 mbps, making it ideal for longer stays. The spectacular lake is just a three-minute walk from the cottage and has a kayak and inner tubes available to our guests.

Just Be Cabin

Small, rustic cabin in the woods behind our home. The cabin has electricity, but no running water. Drinking and cooking water are provided from a hand pumped container. The cabin is a beautiful place to slow down, connect to nature and one's self. If you love to camp, you will love the cabin. It is the perfect locale for a personal retreat. We are happy to arrange a yoga class at our home studio as well. It is like a tree house, where all are welcome to come, simplify life and just be.

Enjoy hiking the Appalachian Trail in nearby Beartown State Forest or kayaking and swimming in the incomparable Lake Garfield. We are a quick ride to Ski Butternut, Catamount, Tanglewood, Lenox and Great Barrington.

Your own private and romantic getaway behind a small orchard. A sweet running brook and outdoor shower! The house is NOT on the lake itself, but it is surrounded by trees in a lovely secluded spot. The only heat is a wood stove... but there is a 4-person cedar barrel sauna in the woods that is electric. A classic 1952 Spartanette travel trailer serves as an extra bedroom. This is a true retreat for romance and adventure.
