The Cottage

Unplug in this peaceful little getaway. Nestled in the backyard of our little hobby farm near the Wood River, you will be able to visit our alpacas, goat, or honey bees. Sit and relax on the porch, or stroll through the pasture or neighborhood. In many ways, the cottage resembles a tiny house with a small bathroom & shower, kitchen sink, microwave, induction hot plate, coffee maker, plates, glasses & utensils. Many of the restaurants & shopping amenities are located on the north end of Kearney.

Come enjoy the prairie air! Farmhouse with 4 bed, 2 bath can sleep 7, on 10 acres of farmland. It is spacious and ready for a fun family weekend, a hunting party, a long birding week, or for those in the area for work. The house is 20 minutes from 4 hospitals, 20 minutes from museums in Kearney, Minden, or Holdrege, and accessible to the Rowe Sanctuary and Fr. Kearny for Sandhill Crane watching. Your reservation will provide you with all 3 bedrooms, private bathroom & a commons area. Original 130 plus year old wooden floors have been restored, bedroom floors are carpeted. Separate semi-private entrance. Separate A/C and Heat. Off street parking. We reside on the main floor. Close to the historical downtown. Unique pergola outdoor living space to relax.

1 Bedroom Shed in Country Perfect for Crane Season

Crane season hot spot! The apartment is located inside a newly constructed shed. It has one bedroom, one bath (shower only, no tub), and a large living room and kitchen with all appliances (no dishwasher). A private pond is located in the pasture outside of the shed for quiet nights relaxing and fishing. It is the perfect setting for nature and bird watching! We do allow pets for a $25 fee. There is a very friendly farm dog on the property, so take note if this will be an issue for you.

The Cottage

Relax in this newly updated cottage located in a quiet neighborhood, 1 block from Good Samaritan Hospital and 5 blocks from Downtown on The Bricks. The open floor plan is light and airy with farmhouse touches to make your stay comfortable. The secluded back yard is perfect for lounging or grilling on the patio. With on-demand heated water, take a long relaxing shower in the completely remodeled bathroom. If you are interested in having your pet accompany you, please request approval.

One of a kind "beach vacation" in central Nebraska! A Caribbean ambience has been quasi recreated in this 1,600 sq. foot space NW of Kearney. The property sits amidst the Nebraska prairie with incredible views of the sunrise, sunset, and moonrise. It's only 10 minutes and all paved roads to Kearney's north shopping district, to the University, and both hospitals. Guests rave about the view, amenities, and peacefulness while being so close to town. Many return and book directly.

Living room seats 12, dining table sits 8+2 at the island. The rest of the building is the owners own space, but can be utilized if there is a need. Options for washer & dryer + second bathroom are available. Great for family gatherings or visits, executive overnights, hunting or whatever brings you to town.

Cozy Cabin on the River

This cozy cabin is located 5 minutes from downtown Kearney. It sits on the Platte River with an incredible view of the Nebraska sunrises and sunsets. It has a nice fishing lake stocked with bass, crappie, blue gill and catfish. The fishing lake is directly outside the cabin. This cabin is furnished with leather furniture, cable tv, a queen size bed, a double size bed and A/C.
