The Highland Haven is perfect for those travelling the NC500 or visiting Orkney in a group. Our two rooms have traditional box beds and can sleep up to 10 (4 in one room, 6 in the other), each with Ensuite and an extra wet room. There is a large open plan kitchen, dining, lounging area surrounding a wood burner. We have secure parking, free laundry facilities and WIFI . Our location is stunning and full of wildlife. Our property boasts superb sea views over Scapa Flow, Hoy and beyond, aswell as field views from the bedrooms. Situated 3 miles from Kirkwall Town centre, with country walks from our doorstep, we offer the ideal spot to explore Orkney. We have free off road parking and an outdoor drying space. Please note: this property is accessed via stairs and no lifts etc are available.

The cottage retains some of it's 19th century charm but has been renovated to be a practical and comfortable home.

Self-catering accommodation in a converted byre, set in the grounds of our family home. About a 10 minute drive from St Margaret's Hope ferry terminal. A perfect location for viewing local wildlife or visiting archaeological sites such as the"Tomb of the Eagles", or wartime sites such as Hoxa Head and the Italian Chapel. A 20 minutes walk from 3 beaches and the Sands Hotel Bar and Restaurant. A 20 minute drive to Kirkwall, over the Churchill Barriers with their historic shipwrecks.

Modern purpose built eco friendly holiday home

Regional finalist featured on BBC Scotland Home of the Year 2023. Skeir a Lidda (meaning the flat skerries) takes its name from the sea shore immediately below the property. Constructed in 2021 it has been purpose built to the highest modern standards. Conveniently situated, Skeir a Lidda is easy to get to and is a perfect base from which to explore the islands. While the annexe is connected to the host's own house it is self contained and private. Friendly help and advice is next door!

Maydene is a modern, one bedroom self catering accomodation. We provide you with a peaceful and homely stay. The accommodation is situated next to our family home. It overlooks the historic sight of Scapa Flow. We are situated in Holm, Orkney, which is less than a 10minute drive to Kirkwall (main town). A car is advised if you are staying at Maydene as it is around a 20 minute walk to the main bus route. We also provide information about Orkney and attractions to visit.

Berriscue House is a beautiful, bespoke cottage - located in the centre of Thurso, hidden away from the world with a large walled garden and private entrance. Five minute walk from the beach. Everything you need for a cosy Scottish retreat! If booking the same day after 6pm please message as it may still be possible to book. If you require the extra bed in the living room, you must tell us in your initial message so we know to prepare this for you.

Brymire Cottage is a unique and charming cottage, surrounded by farm land and situated in the parish of Tankerness in the East Mainland of Orkney; approximately 2 miles from Kirkwall Airport and 5 miles from Kirkwall Town Centre. Make sure your booking is adequate length for all you want to see and do; as many guests advise that a guest requires at least a four night stay or longer to appreciate all that Orkney has to offer.

Our beautifully restored self catering cottage is located on the island of Burray linked by road via the Churchill barriers to the mainland of Orkney and is attached to our family home. We have kept and restored some of the old beautiful features like the exposed stone walls and stone floor we have also installed a new multi fuel stove for cosy nights around the fire
