Be astonished at what awaits a stay in this hobbit like home. In a tribute to a quiet man, this home has been turned into a spectacular place. We are certain Wally could never have imagined the potential the little house held. Be amazed at the awesome decor. Two bedrooms, one with queen bed, other with twin over full and a stunning bathroom. The showstopper is the beautiful living/ kitchen area with glowing tin ceIlings. There’s everything to ensure your wanting to stay longer or return soon.

The Roost

1930's Limestone chicken house converted to a cabin. 1/4 mile off a paved highway. Interior space is 46 feet x 11 feet, with sloping ceiling. Tiled shower with built in seat.(No tub.) Fully appointed kitchen. Beautiful views of the Smoky Hills. Several acres of native grassland with running stream to explore. Deer, turkey, bird watching, and other wildlife. If you are going walking, wear appropriate footwear. See the stars without city lights and enjoy the unbelievable quiet.

Branded 5 Bunkhouse Farm & Kennel, no cleaning fee

Enjoy a peaceful stay at Branded 5 Stable. Quiet country roads, horses and more! Spacious, private and clean 1 bedroom/1 bath apartment. We don't allow pets in apartment but do provide 3 roomy dog kennels or space in our garage for traveling kennels. Hunters welcome! Come and enjoy our many animal friends, pick up a brush or help us feed! You may also be treated to our boarders exercising horses while here. We are sorry but we do not offer horse back riding lessons at this time.

#1 - North Fork Horse Ranch - King bed

North Fork Ranch offers a relaxing atmosphere with the scenic beauty of rural Kansas. The overnight accommodations offer a quiet getaway where travelers can relax in the comfort of their air-conditioned/heated rustic room in the loft of the ranch barn. The backyard view is memorizing with gently rolling hills, abundant wildlife, and wide-open spaces. Room amenities include free parking, free internet, Netflix, and a private entrance to the room with a private bathroom.

Animal, Hunter, and Traveler friendly LQ Studio

Flexible sleeping set-up with 2 twin xl beds, OR 1 split king setup. On our working farm, with various animals on-site, next to a major highway and an active rail-road track, The LQ is loaded with amenities for both hunters and travelers. The Country School House

Clean, safe small railroad farming community with parks, museums, swimming pool, frisbee course and other features to make your stay comfortable. Feels like home while traveling. Enjoy this restful bungalow for a night, a day, a week or a month ln historic Ellis, Kansas. Just 90 minutes to Little Jerusalem Badlands State Park. Ellis is 4.5 hours from Denver and 4 hours from Kansas City. We cater to traveling nurses and other contract professionals.

1886 Loft Book entire space

This unique loft has a style all of its own. Built in 1886, the loft was an apartment back in the day and has been vacant since the 50's. It has been completely renovated and restored in 2023. Saving all the original doors and trim, modern updates were made throughout. Located in the heart of downtown Oakley, it is an excellent choice to base out of and explore northwest Kansas. Downstairs space often has pop up food vendors as an added benefit.

Cozy farmhouse cottage

Right off highway 24. Large vehicles and trailer parking available for a cozy stay at this 3 bedroom farmhouse style home typical to Western Kansas. Enjoy a quiet moment on the old front porch. You will see the stars here. This is country. A touch of western lore, located midway between Denver and Kansas City and situated on the Solomon river valley. Antelope lake is 2 miles away. Grocery store 2 blocks away. 3 TV’s with WIFI and Roku.

The Cabin

The Cabin is located in the small, rural town of Brewster, just off Interstate 70 between Colby and Goodland. It is furnished with a double bed and futon on the lower level and a twin bed in the loft. The loft is accessible via a pull-down ladder. A mini-fridge, Keurig, and microwave available. No wifi or TV, a playground nearby, three blocks from a small grocery store that serves meals, but the days and times vary with the seasons.

High Plains Hideaway

The coolest airbnb in Kansas. This one of a kind work of art is undoubtably the best place to stay between Denver and Kansas City. Conveniently located on a quiet paved road just 4 miles from i70 exit 62 and 7 miles south of Colby. 4 guests, 2 vehicles max! No animals!
