At the back of the house facing south-west is a large porch with a hot tub. It is furnished with cosy chairs for sunbathing and an outside dining table, chairs and BBQ. The house is in a very peaseful and secured area. It is located close to the most beautiful nature in Iceland, only few minutes from Geysir, half an hour from Gullfoss and an hour from Þingvellir.

The name of the cabin is Himnaríki or Heaven in english.(GPS =N64 04.096Ẃ20 07.739 ) The heavenly view from the cabin over the river Þjórsá and the volcano Hekla is spectacular! The amazing view reaches over the beautiful landscape and the location The floorspace of the cabin is 38 m2 plus a sleeping loft with 3 beds 80 x 200 Downstairs is one bedroom with a queen size double bed. There is a well equipped kitchen, a living room and a bathroom with a shower. All bedding and towels are included

It is close to several tourist attractions; Gullfoss (25 km), Geysir (20 km), Skálholt (10 km) so you can easily use our place as your base and visit the area to come back in the afternoon and relax in our very spacious hot tub (10 persons) or light a fire in the fire place and look out to the peaceful river. It is approx.8 km south of the town Flúðir in South Iceland (ca 1:20 hr. drive from Reykjavík). There are a lot of things to see and do. At the Golden Circle. The house has 4 bedrooms, for 8 people, 2 bathrooms, living room, kitchen, dining room and a washroom with a washing machine and a dryer. There is a patio around the house and a hot tub.
