This is a cabin-in-the-woods experience! The Seeley Oaks A-Frame is our slice of the peaceful Northwoods experience. It's on 40 private, tranquil acres (no neighbors!) with great access to all the Hayward-Cable area has to offer. It's small - intended for two adults, with the option of 2 addtl kids. Quiet, private lake getaway on 3.5 wooded acres 2 hours from Twin Cities. Delightful recently-built cottage has large vaulted screen porch facing the lake and sunrise, open porch facing woods. Fully furnished with vintage home-goods. Quiet 100 acre lake--only 22 residences. One bedroom facing the lake, one bath with luxurious soaking tub and shower. Loft suitable for 1-2 older children, with sturdy ladder access. Six miles to Spooner on blacktop. Private dock with paddleboat provided.

We have internet and a cell phone booster to keep you connected if needed. If you want to explore downtown Hayward with its unique shops, it is a short drive (18 minutes).

Our small resort is reminiscent of the gems that are largely gone in the Northwoods. A quiet, peaceful cabin on the shore of a sportsmen's lake. Barker Lake is a 240 acre lake set in the National Forest. Wildlife is more plentiful than people. Just 25 min southeast of Hayward gets you to the tourist action if you want it. A 14' rowboat comes with the cabin and motor can be rented. The lake is a class A musky lake with smallmouth and various panfish. Kayaks are available free of charge

On a small private lake (Glover Lake) with great swimming, fishing, canoeing/kayaking and only 1/4 mile from the Chippewa Flowage CC North Public Boat Landing which is a separate lake than Glover Lake. Near UTV/ATV and Snowmobile trails. Glover Lake House is a 3 Bedroom 2.5 Bath Home with huge yard (9.75 acres) to enjoy the outdoors! Separate Screen House, one (1) Aluminum Boat and two (2) Canoes makes this the perfect outdoor space.

FYI, We do ask that guests take their trash with them. There is space to park your trailer.
